EXPERIENCE
Dave joined Kane Management Group in 2003 as Maintenance Technician with more than 25 years in construction and facilities management. Dave has been promoted to Manager of Construction and Maintenance Supervisor. Dave’s diverse background as a Project Manager, Site Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor for a wide variety of projects has put Dave in the front line of property management support. In addition, he has a unique business understanding from having owned and managed his own residential multi-tenant building. KMG’s portfolios benefit from his knowledge, ability and ‘get it done’ attitude backed by years of experience.
Dave's primary responsibilities include: Supervisory capacity of all maintenance staff and services
Monitors and directs all vendors
Construction Management: budgets, schedule and oversight of contractors, job completion and turn over to tenant
Oversees after-hours emergency response: 24 hours, 7 days per week
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Oversight in $500,000 tenant improvement, including relocation of tenant and suite build out of 30,000 sf office / lab tenant
Oversight of tenant improvement for 3,000 sf Class A specialty dental office
Involved in over fifty new home constructions, focused on energy efficient building techniques
Project Supervisor for total reconstruction of 300 unit apartment complex destroyed during Hurricane Andrew
Project Manager for construction of an eight-unit HUD housing project
