The Kane Company leases over 75,000 SF at Portsmouth Commerce Center

Portsmouth, NH – May 1, 2008 – Pannaway Technologies has leased 27,350 SF of office space at 230 Commerce Way from Dornoch, LLC. Pannaway provides fixed networks and mobile solutions to allow individuals to connect and share media on a worldwide basis. Pannaway has relocated within Portsmouth Commerce Center to an upgraded space that is laid out more efficiently and effectively for their use. Margot McKean and Bob Marchewka of The Kane Company listed and leased the space.

InTown Veterinary Group has leased 15,728 SF of office space at 215 Commerce Way from Tain Properties LLC. InTown Veterinary Group is a Massachusetts based company with four locations in northern Massachusetts. They will be opening a 24-hour, 7-day a week emergency and critical care referral hospital in Portsmouth. Margot McKean of The Kane Company listed the space and Tad Lee of Meredith & Grew in Boston procured the tenant.

Irving Oil has renewed their lease for 29,332 SF of office space at 190 Commerce Way and 170 Commerce Way from Commerce Center Trust LLC. Irving Oil is headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, with United States marketing operations in Portsmouth, NH. Margot McKean of The Kane Company negotiated the lease renewal on behalf of Commerce Center Trust LLC.

Robert Half International has renewed their lease for 2,635 SF of office space at 230 Commerce Way from Dornoch, LLC. Robert Half International is a worldwide staffing placement company that specializes in finance/accounting, technology, legal, administrative, and marketing/creative staffing services. Margot McKean and Bob Marchewka of The Kane Company negotiated the lease renewal on behalf of the Landlord; Margaret O’Brien of CBRE-New England negotiated the lease renewal on behalf of the Tenant.

CR Electronics purchases a 27,000 SF building on 2.0 acres in Seabrook, NH

Seabrook, NH – August 18, 2008 – CR Electronics, Inc. has purchased 27,000 SF of industrial/warehouse space at 139 Folly Mill Road from Greybar Enterprises. Established in 1991, CR Electronics is a New England based company that provides network solutions to small businesses and custom configures personal computers. Joseph Kane of The Kane Company listed the property and procured the buyer.

Great Bay Buffet leases 7,120 SF of retail/restaurant space in Newington, NH

Newington, NH - January 21, 2009 - Great Bay Buffet has leased 7,120 SF of retail/restaurant space at 5 Piscataqua Drive in Newington from Smokey Bones. This premier restaurant features Chinese, Japanese and American cuisine and offers an all you can eat, freshly prepared, lunch and dinner buffet. This is Great Bay Buffet's second location opened in NH; its other location is on South Willow Street in Manchester, across from The Mall of New Hampshire. Alpha Flying, Inc. Leases 13,600 SF in Portsmouth, NH

Portsmouth, NH – June 30, 2008 – Alpha Flying, Inc. has leased 13,600 SF of office space at 325 Corporate Drive from 325 Corporate Drive, LLC. The company, started in 1992, manages a privately-held fractional aircraft ownership firm operating a fleet of 29 aircraft. Alpha Flying moved into a newly constructed 84,000 SF hanger/office facility at Flightline Road in November of 2007 and quickly found a need for additional office space to support its growing operations department. The groundbreaking will be March of 2009 with the Grand Opening one year later. He is looking forward to coming to the Portsmouth area. The Kane Company Sells Student Housing Complex

Durham, NH – June 30, 2008 – Tom & Elizabeth Robinson have purchased a 26-unit student housing complex at 5 Dennison Road from the Marcia I. Nescot Revocable Trust who developed the property in 1947. Alex Lauchlan joins Kane as Land Development and Corporate Relocation Specialist

Alex Lauchlan recently joined the Kane Company after spending over 20 years in the oil and gas industry. During his time in the field, he was responsible for facilitating the construction of oil and gas transmission lines all over North America, as well as for the installation of industrial, engineering, and oil and gas facilities worldwide.

StateFarm Insurance Company relocates for higher visibility in Eliot ME

Statefarm Insurance Company has leased 1,200 SF of office space in Eliot Commons Professional Park, Eliot, ME, to increase their visibility. Peter Billipp of The Kane Company leased the space.

AAA Northern New England relocates their Portsmouth, NH office

AAA Northern New England, has leased 2,850+/-SF of retail space in the Bowl-O-Rama Plaza on Lafayette Road in Portsmouth. AAA Northern New England provides road side assistance as well as insurance and travel services. AAA hired The Kane Company to help find suitable alternative locations for their operations, as their former office was in the Parade Mall which is planned for redevelopment. Vanessa Rozier of The Kane Company represented AAA in this transaction and Fred Attalla of Points Nor’East represented the Landlord.

Kane hired as leasing agent for 125,000 SF retail plaza in Pelham, NH

Pelham Plaza, the 125,000 square foot community shopping center on Route 38 in Pelham, New Hampshire, is under new ownership. Rubicon Real Estate of Wellesley, MA purchased this popular Hannaford Bros. anchored plaza and has hired The Kane Company to market the available retail and office space.

Located just minutes from the Massachusetts border, the businesses in the plaza benefit from the New Hampshire “no sales tax” advantage, as well as the continual increase in population in New England’s fastest growing state. In addition to Hannaford, tenants such as Sovereign Bank, Radio Shack, Quiznos, Dunkin’ Donuts, Hallmark, a post office and state liquor store all contribute in generating daily traffic to the site.
