The Kane Company Sells a 6,400 SF Industrial/Office Building in Dover, NH

Dover, NH   –  January 17, 2012 – The Kane Company is pleased to announce the sale of the property at 127 Venture Drive in Dover, NH.  This modern, light industrial building contains 6,400 SF of industrial and office space and is situated on a 2.4 acre lot in Enterprise Park in Dover. The site can support an additional 4,000 SF of expansion which the new owner considered a plus when considering the purchase of the property. The new owner is APW, LLC who makes high-end audio visual control systems.

Kittery, ME – January 12, 2012 - The Kane Company is pleased to announce the sale of the property located at 57 State Road. The 5,800 square foot, free-standing building is the former location of Kittery Optometric Associates who have moved into a larger facility on the Route 1 By-pass in Kittery.  The property was vacant for several years and will be extensively renovated by the new owners who are finalizing plans for the new location.

Newington, NH – July 13, 2011 Southeast New Hampshire Habitat for Humanity has leased 19,000 +/- SF of retail space at 29 Fox Run Road in Newington from Newington Realty Company.  The building is the former Roller Skate Newington located next to Walmart as well as the Fox Run Mall.
 
The new space will be a Habit ReStore relocating from its current premises in Dover.  The ReStore sells donated building materials and home improvement supplies to the public below retail costs.  Proceeds directly benefit the Southeast NH community by providing funds to build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with local families in need in Strafford and Rockingham counties.  Doug Willey, manager of the Dover ReStore, stated that they are thrilled to be moving to the expanded space which is on a single level and to have ample parking and great visibility.

The Kane Company Closes Sale of Raymond Industrial Property
Portsmouth, NH – June 2010 - The Kane Company is pleased to announce that the property located at 13 Center Street in Raymond, NH has been sold. This 52,000 SF industrial property is situated on a 10 acre lot and was formerly occupied by a plastics manufacturer. The Kane Company Sells former Kia Dealership

Portsmouth, NH – October 8, 2010

The Salvation Army has purchased the former Kia Auto dealership property at 2458 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, NH.  The 33,000 SF facility will be redesigned as a family thrift store which is part of The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) system.  The ARC provides assistance to people who are struggling with substance abuse issues. The rehabilitative ministry is made possible through the generosity of individuals, organizations and businesses who donate goods that can be sold through the thrift stores and provides services to participants in its programs.  The proceeds from the thrift stores fully fund the Rehabilitation Work Therapy Program, allowing the program to be self-sustaining.

The facility with its acreage and fenced in property was perfect for the use planned by The Salvation Army as well as being in a vibrant retail area with great visibility and accessibility
  
Local Salvation Army officials wanted to clarify that The Salvation Army Portsmouth Corp, on the other hand, is entirely dependent on community contributions to support its daily feeding program, social services and other life-enriching programs for all ages of men, women and children in the area.  According to a Salvation Army spokesperson, without the community’s generous donations, the local corps would not be able to meet the needs of the disadvantaged in the area. The spokesperson emphasized that no funds from the Portsmouth community have been used, or will be used, for the purchase of the thrift store facility.

The Kane Company sells 7,100 SF Building in Newburyport Industrial Park

Newburyport, MA – October 25, 2010 - Anthony Triglione, broker, with The Kane Company, Inc. has recently completed the sale of 7 New Pasture Rd in Newburyport, MA. This 7,100 sf flex-industrial facility, formerly occupied by Thomas Machine Works, sold for $635,000. The building will now be occupied by Henry Schwab Company, a supplier of products to the funeral industry. Triglione represented both the seller and buyer of the property. “The property was snapped up quickly due to its good condition and limited inventory of other available properties of similar size in the Newburyport Industrial Park”, says Triglione. Newburyport Five Cents Savings bank and the SBA provided financing for the transaction.
